English: In this video you can see Stadtbahnen at the station Staatsgalerie (near the Planetarium and of course Staatsgalerie). It is also completely surrounded by the the Stuttgart 21 building site (One of the largest railway projects in Europe). Also some exits have been demolished and the tunnel which directly leads to Stuttgart Hbf is also closed.

Stuttgart 21 is one of the largest railway projects in Europe. Its main aim is to redevelop Stuttgart Hbf (Main Station) and to upgrade the railway line Stuttgart-Ulm. It has received a lot of criticism due to it being heavily delayed and the costs keep on climbing. The project is estimated to be finished by 2025 although when the building started in 2010 it was estimated to be finished a lot earlier (2019). Overall almost the whole city is a building site which of course is very annoying for the inhabitants. It's also a similar situation with the new Berlin Airport.

What I personally find really annoying is although the new station will be a "drive through train station" it only has 8 platforms when the old station has 16. This means trains would only be able to wait at the station for a very short time (acting as it it wasn't a terminus but just a normal station). This would mean the trains would have difficulty catching time up if they were running late. I also find there are many regional stations that need an upgrade, especially when it comes to disabled access and not a big station and a railway line that is mostly in a good condition.
