Badmómzjay: One-Hit-Wonder oder nächste Rap-Queen? II PULS Musik Analyse Badmómzjay hat mit 17 Jahren erreicht, wovon viele ihr ganzes Leben lang träumen. Ein Deal bei einem Majorlabel - und das bevor ihre erste offizielle Single rausgekommen ist. Woher kommt der Hype um badmómzjay?
Badmómzjay ist im Juni aus dem Nichts auf der ganz großen Social Media-Bühne erschienen. Dazu hat Monet192 badmómzjay auf der Single „Papi“ gefeatured.Ihr erster viraler Hit. 2020 holt sich badmómzjay die Klicks jetzt auch ohne Features. Mit den Singles „Bounce“ und „Zirkus“ hat sie schon ein paar Millionen Klicks erreicht. Badmómzjay hat schon in jungem Alter eine professionelle Crew und mit Universal ein riesiges Label hinter sich. Angefangen hat sie im Kinderzimmer irgendwo am Rande von Berlin, wo sie aufgewachsen ist. Bürgerlich heißt sie Jordan und ist mit Englisch und Deutsch aufgewachsen. Deswegen switcht badmómzjay auch in ihren Songs mühelos zwischen den beiden Sprachen. Schon lange vor dem Feature mit Monet192 hat sie als badmómzjay mit Beats über die Bluetoothbox Freestyles und eigene Lyrics auf YouTube und Instagram hochgeladen.

Was macht den Sound von badmómzjay aus?
Badmómzjay kann man am ehesten als eine deutsche Bhad Bhabie verstehen, von der sie auch selber ein Riesenfan ist. Aber nicht nur die Haarfarbe haben die beiden gemeinsam. In Songs wie “Bounce “haben die beiden eine ähnliche bossy attitude und überkandidelte Art. Von ihrem Einfluss und ihrem Look ist badmómzjay auch mit ihrem jungen Alter überzeugt und traut sich beides selbstbewusst in Szene zu setzen. Ihre Meinung über Deutschrap zeigt badmómzjay klar auf „Zirkus“. Sie hält nichts von der aktuellen Deutschrap-Szene und hat kein Problem, sich damit erstmal auch ein paar Feinde zu machen. Wenn man sich die Reaktionen auf badmómzjay anschaut, scheint der Plan auch zu funktionieren. Mit ihren Tracks sammelt sie gerade eine große Fanbase und die Singles kommen richtig gut an. Ihren Hype hat sie sich damit erstmal verdient. Produziert werden badmómsjays Songs übrigens oft von Maxe, einem ebenfalls jungen Producer, der auch schon Beats für Monet192 gebaut hat.
